Guerrillas in the sugar bushFighting to keep their syrup out of the hands of the Fédération des producteurs acéricoles du Québec - Quebec’s powerful provincial syrup producers’ union - many maple syrup producers in the province sneak barrels of their product out by night, deal in a black market and even flee the province. Shot in April 2015 during the sugaring-off season in snowy Quebec, this video follows the battle of two Quebec-based maple syrup producers.
